Melita Long is a qualified career and executive coach, trainer, and facilitator, who has coached or trained 3,000+ clients since 2003 with a strengths-based approach.

She has 20 years in career and executive coaching, and 10 years in leadership development. She has worked in tertiary education, healthcare, government, financial and professional services, in Australia, New Zealand, and Europe. Her experience is supported by 70 LinkedIn recommendations.

She has facilitated group workshops on leadership, communication, career management, and outplacement. Skilled in end-to-end learning development, and delivery, with an engaging and adaptable facilitation style, Melita has consistently achieved workshop ratings of 92% since 2014.

At Health Share Victoria she developed and facilitated a 2-year strategic LEAD leadership development program for 130 staff which covered a vast range of leadership topics such as Self-awareness, Leadership adaptability, Communication, Engagement, Coaching, Change Management, Strategic and Systems Thinking, Productivity and Process Mapping.

At PIEF, her role enhanced industry capability across personal injury management, running a community of practice, and development and delivery of 39 professional development programs with 85% – 98% ratings. This included proactively conducting needs analysis to identify and develop 7 new programs covering emerging and new leaders, managing mental injury claims, and psychological safety.

As a Career Development Consultant at Melbourne Business School (MBS) for 3 years she coached and trained 1,500 MBA, executive and senior executive MBA students up to CEO and Board level in career and leadership development. Melita guided students to see how they could apply their MBA to enhance and develop their leadership careers and translate their learnings into a clear value proposition.
