Kylie Holyland has over 30 years’ experience helping individuals, managers, and leaders to shift their thinking and behavior, so they thrive together at work. A full-time team and leader coach since 2013, Kylie has worked with more than 500 leaders and teams at all levels of organisations around the globe – challenging and supporting them to shift their mindset, manage energy and crystalise their leadership identity. Before that Kylie spent 25 years working in HR as an internal HR consultant providing HR advice and leadership support to hundreds of public sector SES and EL leaders and managers. In coaching, Kylie’s particular strength is in coaching for purpose and meaning. She helps teams and leaders build skills and confidence to engage in challenging situations and have difficult conversations, to develop new ways of thinking about issues and to take action to improve their work and career performance. Kylie is particularly skilled at shifting behavior and attitudes, helping her clients to develop an understanding of their triggers, build resilience and to improve workplace relationships. A mediator and conflict coach, she helps managers resolve complex people issues and develops effective strategies to maximise individual and organisational performance.

Kylie is a confident accredited trainer and facilitator, comfortable with delivering short courses and workshops on a range of topics. Kylie is currently the Program Coach of the APS-wide mentoring program WILES – Women in Law Enforcement and Strategy for AIM Public Sector and is the lead facilitator of the APS Academy SES Band 1 Orientation Program on behalf of Beasley Intercultural. Kylie has studied neuroscience, HR, NLP, mediation and conflict resolution, and psychology. Kylie is a past-president of the ACT Branch of the International Coach Federation, and is a current member of a range of Australian professional organisations including ICF, AHRI, IPAA, IAF, AITD, and the Resolution Institute.

Kylie draws on her training and experience in a range of coaching approaches, tools and methodologies to help leaders to create meaningful change in their professional lives. Kylie uses individual and executive coaching, including goal-based and emergent coaching methodologies, team coaching and Prosocial group coaching, growth edge and action-logic coaching techniques, skills-based coaching, CINERGY™ conflict coaching and IECL narrative coaching.
