ABS data suggests gender pay gap is closing

The gender pay gap is finally closing! This year, women's wages have risen by 7.1%, whilst men’s wages have risen by 3.2%, according to recent ABS data, suggesting the gender pay gap is closing, which needs to be a priority for all employers. Kris Grant CEO of ASPL Group, shares with the Investor Daily and Aged Care News, that now is the time for all employers to look at their payroll and examine whether the wages they’re paying to men and women are equal, that is, the same pay is being paid for the same work to men and women.
