AFR — Talent debate faces the make-or-buy dilemma

Many of ASPL Group's clients are experiencing difficulty sourcing capability with the required skills needed in today's tightening labour market. Organisations are now debating whether to outsource the work required or internally train and upskill their existing talent.

Kris Grant, CEO of ASPL Group, shares her advice with the Australian Financial Review and believes a combination of insourcing and outsourcing is a realistic strategy given the lack of capability in the market needed with today’s skill shortages. Insourcing allows upskilling, cross-skilling and developing new capabilities, while outsourcing with partners allows organisations to access new skills.
