Tina has been an executive/leadership coach, career coach, consultant, and facilitator since 1989 and has worked with a variety of different organisations, both large and small in the corporate, public, and not for profit sectors to assist them to achieve outstanding results.
Education and Certifications
- Sc. (Hons) in Sociology from London University
- Postgraduate Diploma in Social Sciences, majoring in Psychology, Counselling and Education (UNE, Armidale)
Tina has also designed and run coaching courses for managers and coaches and providing one to one mentoring coaching for other coaches. She has a more than 30 years of experience in Public and Private sector across Australia.
Her approach to one-on-one coaching and consulting is targeted at assisting clients to generate their own solutions. Tina successfully coaches individuals in areas such as, leadership and management development, effective interpersonal skills, dealing with difficult situations, communicating more effectively and precisely, increasing motivation, achieving goals, and improving problem solving and decision-making abilities.
Coaching is aimed at assisting individuals to become more effective and accountable and to increase their level of satisfaction in all areas of their lives. This generally positively impacts the client’s staff morale, productivity, collaboration and creativity and the organisational bottom-line results. As a coach, Tina quickly establishes rapport, gains the client’s trust, and works in partnership with them to generate their own solutions. She also challenges people in a way that helps them dig deeper into themselves to draw on inner resources that they may not have acknowledged before. Drawing on her diverse background in the social and behavioural sciences, she works with individuals to focus on and expand their strengths, using a mix of positive psychology and the best of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and a solution focused approach.
She is also accredited in the Human Synergistics’ development tools, the Lifestyles Inventory, the Group Styles Inventory, The Leadership Circle, the Leadership Impact Instrument, and the AMA DISC Model.
