Poaching workers is a popular strategy that companies are using and relying on direct messaging candidates via LinkedIn to source talent, given the nation’s skills shortage and limited talent pool, which has influenced higher rates of job switching. In the Age and The Sydney Morning Herald latest articles Kris discusses how she has noticed individiauls experiencing the ‘great regret’ due to switching to another organisation for more money, which may not always give you the job satisfaction on the other side. “They’re maybe not getting much learning and development and are not happy … Unless you work through that, you could get into a new role and it could be exactly the same challenges.”
