Experience
Programs delivered include the Work of Leaders, Management, Workplace, Sales, and Productive Conflict. He has also been the keynote speaker at conferences in Sydney, Queenstown and across the APAC region introducing the concept of emotional intelligence to CEOs, General Managers, Consultants and Corporate businesses. In addition, during the last 10 years, David has helped over 1500 leaders improve their leadership effectiveness utilising the skills of emotional intelligence through one-on-one executive coaching and facilitation of workshops. With over 25 years leadership and management experience, David has always had responsibility and passion for developing people. David has completed an MBA majoring in HR and Organisational Development, a Degree in Marketing and Corporate Strategy and holds a Diploma in Performance Coaching. David is a Fellow of the Institute of Managers and Leaders (FIML) and a Certified Professional of the Australian Human Resources Institute (CAHRI). He has delivered emotional intelligence programs and DiSC workshops in a broad range of sectors including finance, engineering, construction, health, education sales and government departments and at all levels of seniority. David is the director and founder of Eqhq and DiSChq.
In 2017 he published “The Emotionally Intelligent Leader: The Missing Ingredient for Leadership Success”, and recently released his second publication “The Emotionally Intelligent Salesperson: Understanding How Emotions Impact Sales Success.”

As an accredited facilitator in Everything DiSC, David uses the full suite of DiSC profiling programs designed to have an immediate and lasting impact on the performance of people and the cultures of organisations. He is an accredited Master trainer for Genos.
