Jane Counsel is a sought-after expert specialising in the complex field of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). She is renowned for her coaching, leadership training, consulting and executive engagements throughout Australia and Asia Pacific. Prior to starting her own business in 2015, Jane was the former Head of Diversity & Flexibility for Westpac, Australia’s second largest bank. In that role she was responsible for the development and implementation of a number of successful DEI strategies and training programs for 40,000 employees across multiple brands.

Her university experience enables her to combine leading-edge academic frameworks with practical experience working with leaders in large complex organisations in sectors including banking, retail, commercial property and insurance in the design and delivery of all leadership training and coaching programs.
Jane currently provides executive coaching, leadership training and consulting services to a broad range of clients across the Financial Services, Retail, Health, Education, and Insurance industries as well as State and Federal Government, Local Government, and the Not-For-Profit sector.
