An Australian recruiter and CEO has revealed the three common but vital errors young people make before starting a new position.

Kris Grant, CEO of management company ASPL Group, said many young job seekers do not thoroughly read the contract before signing, make assumptions about the duties involved and avoid negotiating when needed.

Ms Grant told Daily Mail Australia these mistakes can lead to dire consequences if not understood or done before signing the legal contract.
